There is a belief that the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea has been the site of five biblical cities : Sodom , Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboim and Zoar . This is also the lowest point of our planet : more than 400m below zero !

Its exceptional concentration of salt and other minerals provides a unique feeling when you bathe in it . It is impossible to sink !

And don’t forget the mud baths… In fact, the phenonemon of intense evaporation and the extreme drainage in Jordan diminishes the quantity of sea water and thus increases its levels of salt. The Dead Sea is shrinking by a meter each year.
